On November 19, the 2026 Overseas Commercial-Vehicle Partners Conference convened in Shiyan, Hubei.
Our company was invited to join global dealers and partners under the theme “Transform, Renew, Win Together,” exploring new cooperation models and mapping the next chapter of overseas growth.
The event unveiled Dongfeng’s 2026 overseas marketing strategy, set full-year export targets and roadmaps, and introduced the high-end G-series heavy-duty truck brand.

Present were Feng Changjun, GM and Deputy Party Secretary of Dongfeng Motor; Wang Jun, Member of the Party Standing Committee and VP; Li Junzhi, GM of the Operations Management Dept.; and Mao Jing, Deputy Director of the Board & Party Office. From the commercial-vehicle unit: Zhang Xiaofan, GM and Party Secretary; Liu Licheng, GM of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle; Huang Zhen, VP of Dongfeng Automobile Co.; and Chen Xianbing, VP of Dongfeng Special Vehicle. Representing Dongfeng Import & Export: Chairman Wang Long, VP & COO Qiu Xiaojun, Discipline Secretary Liu Jianyun, VPs Yang Tao and Wang Jiong, and our own Foreign Trade GM Robin Zheng.

Wang Jun thanked overseas partners for their long-standing trust and support. He stressed that the global auto industry is undergoing deep change—electrified, intelligent and green—and commercial-vehicle competition is shifting from traditional manufacturing to “technology + ecosystem.” To meet these trends, Dongfeng is accelerating its leap in new energy, smart tech and globalization, completing full coverage of battery-electric, hybrid and hydrogen products and launching a third-generation hydrogen fuel-cell heavy truck with over 800 km range.
Overseas, Dongfeng keeps upgrading products, integrating organizations and operating locally, while reinforcing resource input and marketing systems. Going forward, Dongfeng will stay committed to open, win-win cooperation, embrace change and innovation with partners worldwide, and jointly expand international markets to open a new chapter of high-quality development.

Wang Long extended a heartfelt welcome and thanks to partners worldwide. He said that holding the conference in Shiyan—Dongfeng’s birthplace—symbolizes the company’s original aspiration and resolve to go global. Facing a new automotive landscape, Dongfeng has elevated its overseas business to a corporate strategic priority and is fully implementing the “Leap Worldwide” strategy, accelerating a value-chain export system that spans R&D, production, supply chain, marketing and services, with the goal of driving annual overseas sales past the one-million-unit mark.
Drawing on Dongfeng’s 50-plus years of vehicle-building strength, its commercial-vehicle business has built core edges in three dimensions: technology, product and system. Technologically, the in-house Longqing powertrain and fuel-cell trucks lead the sector. In products, it fields a full-spectrum lineup covering every power type and scenario, launched simultaneously at home and abroad. System-wide, it is localizing operations across nine areas—product planning, sales, manufacturing, talent and more—to keep sharpening its global edge. Dongfeng looks forward to aligning with partners worldwide to deepen cooperation, expand world markets and deliver greater value to users everywhere.

Yang Tao unveiled Dongfeng’s 2026 overseas marketing strategy: seizing new opportunities in global markets—especially emerging regions—the company will press ahead with its “Leap Worldwide” drive, upgrading global operations through five simultaneous transformations: vision, brand, technology, organization and business model.

Pan Chonggang, Deputy GM (acting) of Light CV Overseas Dept., and Zhang Wenfeng, Deputy GM of Medium- & Heavy-Duty CV Overseas Dept., outlined the 2026 light-truck and MHDT product strategies, spotlighting Dongfeng’s technical reserves and roadmap. The company will keep boosting investment in new-energy and smart-driving tech, accelerate overseas plants and service hubs, and—through localized operations and partner synergy—pursue high-quality growth in global markets.

The conference launched the Dongfeng G-Series premium heavy-duty truck overseas brand strategy, marking a new phase in Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle’s globalization. With global demand for high-end heavy trucks surging and China now the world’s top exporter, Dongfeng Import & Export positions the G-Series as its flagship lineup, integrating world-class supply-chain resources to match leading international brands in quality and technology. Rigorously tested for 2-million-kilometer durability and proven fuel savings, the series delivers efficient, reliable transport solutions.
